Waxed metallic card bases shine through a delicate lattice frame topper and are embellished with tiny jewels.

Multi-layered lace front cards in a metallic wax finish for deep lustre. Art does not always require words. Jewel adorned to catch the lights.

Deeply de-bossed (raised) deer that sparkle. A cobalt to mint green gradient background, deepens the 3D embossed effect, with a slight shimmer added to the antlers. Last version is an debossed olive green with water colours and white chalk pigment ink to make the deer stand out as the main element. Gel metallic antlers for a touch of sparkle.

Metallic splashed backdrops provides a good contrast to the 3 layer Christmas Butterfly that allows each layer to peek through. The backdrop is gently pierced throughout for added texture.

Deeply de-bossed (raised) holly clusters are always a Christmas Classic. This time the card base is a high shine solid metallic cardstock that will surely impress the recipient. Glittered berries add a simple and elegant bit of shine.

These hand painted lattice leaves are coloured with Japanese metallic water colours and layered over top with a cobalt blue solid foiled cardstock for a super shine on.

Although a simple design, they were meant to bounce an amazing about of light off the card front to grab the recipient's full attention. Coordinated base and card fronts are hand foil rubbed (still vacuuming up the mess!) using a specialized glue, foil shreds and a still pouncing brush to push the foils into the sticky glue. Then gently rubbed with a cloth to remove excess foils, the front panel is pressed through an embossing folder to raise portions for amazing texture you can feel. Then adorned with textured holly die cuts using holographic foil card stocks.

This new design is a pale bronzed sign of peace. The backdrop panel is cloud embossed and gently highlighted in coordinated grey shaded to bring out the "puffiness". Triple die-cut doves are raised and attached for a free floating effect. This might be my favourite of the season.

Classic Noel: Done with deep texture.

Using a marvellous deep embossed circular folder, the raised portions are embossed in multitudes of metallic embossing powders and melted just so, for an old world bronzed effect. Then a super delicate "Noel" die-cut is floated over a glitter banner bar. Hard to beat a classic!

Red Ribbons Rule!

More deeply embossed backdrops (one hand rubbed in gold ink, the other foiled).

The top is an antique golden bell with small solid red foiled bow.

The lower, a big red foiled bow hovering over stitched discs.

(Green Card) Re-using the circular embossed design, this time offering up "Season's Greetings" in super thing foiled text on a woodgrain base.

The backdrop is distressed inked and embossed this clear embossing powder.

(Red Card) An older embossed quilted backdrop over a triple "pinked" gradient needed a "Season's Greetings" in cool silver foiled text and again with a woodgrain shadow.

A Poinsettia Medallion:

Pale bronzed painted medallion hovers over a speckled neutral card base. The "topper" is a verdigris piece adorned with silver faceted jewels.

A Quilted Christmas:

Aqua and silver metallic backdrop, deeply debossed with a classic quilted/pierced pattern with delicate golden touches. Mirrored green sprig of holly, topped with a 5 layered Christmas die cut outlines in matching aqua border. Textured!

Sheet Metal Snowflaked:

Tone on tone card and backdrop graced with pigment silvering. Super-delicate geometric snowflake cut from hot pink sprayed card stock then gently heat embossed in clear for shine. A hexagon topper is heat embossed with the most amazing "angelwings" embossing powder the photo cannot capture. A dabble of glass beads captures the light from all angles.

Knitted Splendor

A perennial favourite at Christmas. Double layered pierced sweaters over a mica pigment geometric background that is deeply de-bossed/embossed to bounce light just about everywhere. Finished with a holographic pine tree and an acrylic coordinating heart stone.

"Lady" Deers

Having some fun here with intense shimmer inks in fuchsia-pinks-golds-rusts & violets and wash Japanese floral tapes. Each deer is three layers of cardstock for added dimension, over a matching silhouette in contrasting colours. One single jewelled eye catches the light.
